Print out the following pages to make the African Americans Book, an early reader book for fluent readers about some important African Americans, including an abolitionist, an inventor, an educator, a scientist, an explorer, a business woman, a doctor, an athlete, a Supreme Court justice, a civil rights leader, and a Congresswoman.

There are two book pages on each printed page. Have the students cut each page in half along the dotted line. Staple the pages together at the left of the page, then read and color the book.
